Post ideas for your church
Instagram Photo Comments
Instagram just released the ability to add comments to a post that contain images. This has been a long requested feature and opens up an all new way for your community to engage with your content. Post a photo or video from Sunday (videos are always best) and tell people to reply with a photo now that it's a feature. This could be used in the future by asking people to comment photos from an event you hosted.
Did you know you can comment with a PHOTO now? 📸 Drop your favorite pic from Sunday in the comments — we want to see church through your eyes.
First Time?
This is a great post that lets people know what it looks like to attend your church for the first time. Attending a church for the first time can be stressful for some. So copy this post and showcase what it looks like from arrival to worship, kids, the sermon, and even after. This takes some of the pressure off and it's an incredibly easy post to replicate.
First time at church? Here's exactly what to expect. 👋 From the parking lot to the last song, no pressure, no dress code, no getting singled out. Just come as you are. We'd love to meet you this Sunday at [service times]. Questions? Send us a DM a real person will answer.
Switching Channels
This fun post is a simple reel of someone with a remote "clicking through" where they could spend their Sunday. This one is easy but can create some fun engagement. Grab a remote, and film a pov shot of you "switching channels". Show popular spots around your city that people spend time at. At the end of each shot hit a button, and hard cut to the next spot eventually ending on your church.
So many ways to spend a Sunday... 📺 We might be biased, but we think we saved the best channel for last. 😉 Join us this Sunday at [service times] coffee's on us. ☕ #church #sunday #[yourcity]
